After closing Jones United Drug Co. in 2001, Tom decided to partner with his daughter, Dana Reed-Kane, at Reed’s Compounding Pharmacy where he could continue to work closely with patients and provide quality care on a daily basis. Tom also enjoys working with students from the College of Pharmacy, other pharmacists, technicians, and the public. He has two children, Pharmacist Dana Reed-Kane and David Reed, who is a chiropractor in Phoenix. He also has 5 wonderful grand children that keep him extremely busy outside of the office.
He regularly attends compounding seminars on men’s health and enjoys consulting and seeing his patients (humans and pets) benefit from compounding treatments. Outside of his work in the pharmacy, Tom takes time to speak to physicians on a regular basis to educate them about what is available to them and their patients through new treatments with compounded medications.
Tom specializes in hormone replacement therapy for men. He also consults and helps providers treat patients using topical pain management. Tom has a keen understanding of the importance of hormone balance for men and women and how changes can affect individuals resulting in pain, changes in libido, osteoporosis and overall changes in general well being.
